I’m a wife and mom who has loved beautiful art my entire life. I admire great art from museum masterpieces to the beauty of God’s creation. I spent many years creating art with my seven children, from handprint crafts, leaf rubbings, sketching nature, homemade science projects, May Day baskets, making slime, gardening, organizing crafts and projects with the Cub Scouts with my sons, and organizing service projects and crafts with my daughters and church. As my kids have grown, I learned to paint in my favorite medium: oils. I paint mostly florals (I love flowers!) but also do farm animals, birds, barns and landscapes. My business name, Oils and Pearls, combines my favorite art medium and my favorite jewelry – which I love to wear every chance I get.
